Govplace Secures Second U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Commercial Cloud BPA Valued at an Estimated $566M

New Contract Vehicle Enables Agency-Wide On-Demand Access to Multi-Cloud Computing Resources

BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Govplace, a prominent cloud and IT solutions provider specializing in the public sector, is thrilled to announce it has been awarded a significant prime commercial cloud hosting Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), a vital component of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Under this BPA, Govplace will facilitate USCIS with uninterrupted access to cutting-edge, secure, and scalable cloud computing environments. The BPA encompasses a one-year base period with three additional one-year options, estimated to hold an impressive value exceeding $566 million. The seamless integration of these cloud solutions will effectively support a diverse array of complex IT systems and programs across the entire agency.

USCIS has garnered recognition as one of the pioneering federal agencies to embrace cloud technology. With this contract vehicle, the agency's cloud portfolio is set to expand further, ushering in enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Moreover, this strategic alliance will lead to considerable cost savings, streamlined acquisition processes, consolidated BPA and Task Order reporting, and simplifying administrative operations.
