Govplace Ranked #1 on Best Companies to Work for in Maryland 2024

BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Daily Record has named Bethesda-based Information Technology solutions provider Govplace as No. 1 on its esteemed “The 2024 Best Companies to Work for in Maryland” list. This annual list is a notable recognition celebrating organizations committed to excellence. This is Govplace’s second consecutive year ranking in the top five of this prestigious list.

Govplace’s dynamic, people-first culture drives everything we do, from designing and implementing secure IT transformation solutions to supporting employee wellness and well-being. Our employees are smart, vibrant, and passionate, consistently pushing boundaries to deliver transformative technology solutions to the Federal Government.

"We are truly honored to receive the 'Best Places to Work in Maryland' award for the second consecutive year. This recognition is a testament to the incredible dedication and passion of our entire team. Our success is built on a foundation of collaboration, respect, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inspiring work environment. This award reaffirms our belief in the importance of investing in our people and cultivating a workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered. Thank you to our amazing employees and everyone who has contributed to making our company a place where people love to work," shares Simone Feldman, Chief Executive Officer, Govplace.

Annually, the "Best Companies to Work for in Maryland" program, managed by Best Companies Group, identifies, recognizes, and honors the top employers in the state. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process and analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

There were two parts used to determine the rankings. The first consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics, worth approximately 25 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience, which consisted of 75 percent of the total. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

“The 2024 Best Companies to Work for in Maryland have created workplaces that inspire success. They know that happy, appreciated employees are the key, and a positive work environment is a win for everyone,” said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/The Daily Record. “The Daily Record is pleased to join with Best Companies Group in recognizing these outstanding businesses.”
