Miller Launches New Women’s PPE Line Built for a Better Fit

Tailored jackets and smaller gloves bring comfort, safety and inclusivity to the jobsite

APPLETON, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Miller Electric Mfg. LLC, a leading worldwide manufacturer of Miller® brand arc welding equipment, announces the release of a new line of personal protective equipment (PPE) designed specifically for women in welding and related trades. The launch marks a step forward in creating jobsite gear that prioritizes function and fit, helping all workers perform at their best without the discomfort posed by oversized or ill-fitting PPE.

For too long, many women in the trades have had to rely on standard men’s PPE, often sacrificing mobility and proper protection. This new line offers a purpose-built alternative that was intentionally engineered to offer a more tailored and inclusive fit and reflects the needs of a more diverse workforce.

The line includes:

  • Tailored jackets: Made from durable, flame-resistant cotton, these jackets provide a secure and comfortable fit that allows full range of motion while delivering essential protection. Side snaps at the waist allow wearers to further customize the fit. They are available in women’s sizes small through 2XL.
  • Fitted gloves: For optimal fit, the gloves are designed for narrower finger widths and reduced bulk to improve dexterity and overall control. They are available in sizes small through XL and come in both MIG and TIG options to suit different welding applications.

Miller believes PPE should fit the worker, not the other way around. By expanding options and rethinking fit, the new line helps ensure that every welder has gear that works with them, not against them.

Explore the full line of women’s PPE products, including women’s jackets, women’s MIG gloves and women’s TIG gloves.
