John Hope Bryant’s Capitalism for All Continues National Momentum 90 Days After Release
Bestselling book receives front-of-store placement at Target tied to America’s 250, as Bryant continues national tour following major appearances at Carnegie Hall, Milken Global Conference, National Action Network, Walmart and 100 Black Men of America
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ninety days after its release, John Hope Bryant’s bestselling book, Capitalism for All: Inclusive Economics and the Future Proofing of America, continues to gain national momentum as a defining economic message for America’s next chapter.
Building on its debut as a national bestseller across USA TODAY, Publisher’s Weekly, Walmart, and Amazon rankings, Capitalism for All has been selected for front-of-store placement at Target beginning the last week of June, tied to the launch of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.
The expanded retail visibility comes as Bryant continues a national tour that has brought the message of Capitalism for All to major civic, business, cultural and community platforms across the country. To date, Bryant and the book have been featured at Carnegie Hall, the Milken Global Conference, a Walmart grand opening celebration in Celina, Texas, the 100 Black Men of America Conference, and the National Action Network Annual Meeting, along with profiles on CNBC, The Breakfast Club, TIME, Bloomberg, and Forbes, among other national outlets.
The momentum also follows Bryant’s recent selection by Forbes as one of the “250 Greatest Living Self-Made Americans,” joining a list that includes Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Martha Stewart, Cher and Larry Ellison. Bryant recently took part in a recognition event in Philadelphia celebrating the honorees and the spirit of American entrepreneurship, ownership and self-made success.
“Capitalism for All is not just a book. It is a call to rebuild the economic ladder in America,” said John Hope Bryant, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Operation HOPE. “As our nation prepares to mark 250 years, the question is not only what America has been, but what America can become. The next chapter of this country must be about ownership, opportunity, financial literacy, entrepreneurship and making the promise of capitalism real for everyone.”
Published earlier this year, Capitalism for All quickly emerged as one of the most talked-about economic books of the season, achieving Top 25 status on the USA TODAY All Books list, Top 10 status on the USA TODAY Nonfiction list, and No. 1 rankings across multiple Amazon categories. The book has also been recognized as an Amazon Editor’s Pick and became a No. 1 Audible New Release.
At its core, Capitalism for All argues that America’s greatest untapped asset is the economic potential of its people. Bryant makes the case that capitalism, when properly understood and broadly accessible, remains one of the most powerful tools ever created for human aspiration, dignity and upward mobility. But for capitalism to work at scale, more Americans must have access to the knowledge, tools and confidence required to participate fully in the free enterprise system.
Through Operation HOPE, Bryant has spent more than three decades working to expand financial literacy, homeownership, small business development and economic empowerment in underserved communities. With Capitalism for All, he brings that work into a broader national conversation about the future of the middle class, the future of work, the future of ownership and the future of the American Dream.
The ongoing Capitalism for All national tour will continue through the rest of the year, with additional stops and conversations focused on inclusive economics, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, ownership and the urgent work of future-proofing America’s economy.
“America does not need less capitalism,” Bryant added. “America needs more people prepared to participate in capitalism. That is the work. That is the opportunity. And that is why this message is meeting the moment.”
