Among the lenders that have committed to utilizing FICO® Score 10T in recent weeks are Fairway Home Mortgage, InterLinc Mortgage Services, Lower Mortgage, NFM Lending, LLC, Novus Home Mortgage, Plaza Home Mortgage and Village Capital & Investment. Collectively, lenders participating in the FICO Score 10T Free Access Program represent $586 billion in annual originations and $1.865 trillion in servicing portfolios.

"As we work to make homeownership more accessible for more families, we're proud to adopt FICO Score 10T and its predictive credit scoring model that provides a more accurate view of credit risk," said Eric Egenhoefer, president and CEO of Novus Home Mortgage. "We are excited to use this innovative technology that aligns so well with our ultimate goal of helping more families into homes of their own."

FICO® Score 10T incorporates trended credit bureau and rental data to deliver a more comprehensive view of consumer credit behavior over time. Multiple independent analyses have found FICO Score 10T to be the most predictive credit score available for use by the mortgage industry. Compared to earlier models, FICO Score 10T can enable up to 5% more approvals at the same risk level, or up to a 17% reduction in delinquencies at the same approval rate — performance gains that translate directly into better outcomes for lenders and the borrowers they serve.

"We're at an inflection point in mortgage credit decisioning, and FICO Score 10T is at the center of it," said Julie May, vice president and general manager of B2B Scores at FICO. "More than 70 lenders have now recognized that the most predictive credit score on the market is also accessible at no additional cost, and that combination is driving a notable shift in how the industry evaluates credit risk. Every lender that adopts FICO Score 10T is making a direct investment in better outcomes for borrowers."

As part of the FICO® Score 10T Free Access Program, participating lenders receive FICO Score 10T alongside the Classic FICO® Score they already use through dual processing — at no additional fee from FICO — lowering barriers to adoption and driving rapid modernization of mortgage credit decisioning.
