Avetta Equips Customers to Make Better-Informed, Faster Decisions Through Enhanced Risk Intelligence Integrations

With strengthened DISA and FMCSA data integration, Avetta delivers improved worker readiness and reduced road transportation risk

LEHI, Utah & HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avetta®, the leading provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) software, today announced it has enhanced two critical integrations within its AI-powered Avetta One SCRM platform. These strengthened integrations with DISA Global Solutions and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) deliver even deeper, real-time risk insights that further empower hiring clients in the Avetta community to make confident decisions on supplier worker readiness and transportation safety performance.

In today’s complex operating environment, organizations are under mounting pressure to ensure every worker—including drivers—in their supply chains meets the highest standards of qualification and safety. However, nearly half of workers admit to falsifying their qualifications on resumes, and underqualified, non-compliant workers are more than three times as likely to experience an injury. At the same time, road transportation remains one of the riskiest links within supply chains, with more than half a million large truck accidents impacting the transportation of goods in 2023 in the US alone. More importantly, those accidents resulted in 5,472 fatalities and another 153,452 injuries.

“Mitigating these risks demands smarter, faster action," said Dawn Andre, Chief Product Officer at Avetta. "The enhanced integrations we’re introducing today build on the foundation we've established with DISA and FMCSA to eliminate critical blind spots and dramatically accelerate confident decision-making. The results are safer workers, more resilient supply chains and better business outcomes.”

Improved Supplier Worker Readiness with Expanded DISA Integration

Avetta has deepened its existing integration with DISAScreen to include background checks alongside drug and alcohol testing, providing clients with a complete view of supplier worker readiness. Hiring clients can now:

  • Automatically request and retrieve background check results from DISA directly within Avetta Worker Management.
  • View and manage those results in real time, reducing manual steps and administrative delays.
  • Establish custom pass/fail flags to ensure every worker meets client-specific requirements.

“At DISA, our mission is to help organizations build and maintain the safest, most qualified workforces possible,” said Shane Solheim, Senior Vice President of Global Channel Partnerships at DISA. “Through this expanded integration with Avetta, organizations can access a comprehensive picture of worker readiness together with other critical data in a unified platform so they can streamline supplier prequalification and elevate safety across their operations.”

Reduced Road Transportation Disruptions with Advanced FMCSA Integration

Avetta has also upgraded its existing integration with FMCSA to an API-based model that ensures hiring clients always have the most up-to-date visibility into motor carrier performance. By reducing data latency, clients can more proactively and accurately identify at-risk motor carriers, make better-informed sourcing decisions and further reduce road transportation-related incidents and costs, all from within the Avetta platform.
