SecurityInfoWatch’s annual awards recognize “the best of the best among the newest technologies that are helping to secure people and property,” said Editorial Director Steve Lasky. More than 2,200 security professionals, who use and install these products on a daily basis, participated in this year’s voting.

The Eagle Eye Indoor Air Quality Vape Sensor detects vaping, smoking, TVOC, CO, CO2, motion, noise and temperature. It is ideal for monitoring areas where vaping is common but security cameras cannot be installed, such as restrooms and locker rooms. For example, if the sensor detects vape smoke in a school locker room, it automatically triggers an alert. School authorities can then verify the event and gain additional information from cameras located in hallways or other areas outside of the locker room, enabling them to take immediate, informed action.

Fully integrated into the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (video management system) the sensors provide administrators with real-time data and a comprehensive view of what’s happening in their buildings.

“The SecurityInfoWatch Readers’ Choice award is significant because the judges are security integrators who really understand which products are field-proven to solve security challenges faced by their school and business customers,” said Dean Drako, Eagle Eye Networks CEO. “At Eagle Eye Networks, we are 100% committed to our channel partners 100% of the time. We want to thank them for this award and their ongoing partnership and support.”

This is the second award for Eagle Eye Indoor Air Quality Vape Sensor, which was recently honored with the Secure Campus Award.
