OpenX Promotes Key Leaders To Drive Continued Momentum Following Twelve Consecutive Quarters of Year-Over-Year Growth

Promotions highlight the company’s depth of talent, commitment to responsible innovation, and continued focus on quality

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OpenX Technologies, Inc., one of the world’s leading omnichannel supply-side platforms, today announced several key leadership promotions to build on the company’s strong financial momentum of 12 consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth. These executive appointments support the company’s significant headcount growth and position OpenX to drive better quality standards, build on its legacy of data and identity, and innovate responsibly.

Matt Sattel has been promoted to President, overseeing OpenX’s buy- and sell-side commercial, product, engineering, technology, operations, and marketing teams. In this role, he will unite the organization around a customer-first strategy that strengthens collaboration across the ecosystem and accelerates innovation. Sattel has already played a pivotal role in scaling OpenX’s sales organization, deepening client partnerships, and strengthening the company’s position as one of the most trusted and innovative SSPs in the industry. His expanded role will enhance speed to market, which is essential in the age of AI, and will enable OpenX to accelerate the delivery of differentiated, first-to-market solutions that drive meaningful value for clients.

“Matt has been a driving force behind our commercial success and a true champion of our values. We’ve worked closely together for years, and I’ve seen firsthand how he leads with vision, uniting commercial and product strategy with a global perspective and deep expertise in CTV and programmatic,” said John Gentry, CEO of OpenX. “He’s a focused and decisive leader who brings people together around innovation, and his ability to connect product and engineering excellence with customer needs is what defines effective leadership and will continue to propel OpenX’s growth.”

Joel Meyer has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer. Meyer spearheaded major advancements at OpenX, such as its migration to cloud infrastructure, and is a well-respected industry expert on the bidstream. As CTO, Joel will oversee engineering, product, PMO, IT, and business operations. Bringing these organizations together strengthens the company’s ability to deliver new solutions to market while expanding its innovative tech stack and maintaining high performance and agility.

Tyler Romasco has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Demand Platforms and Publisher Partnerships. Romasco has transformed the company’s ability to deliver for publishers, and his deep expertise in DSP and programmatic strategy uniquely positions him to further expand OpenX’s business. In this newly expanded role, he will lead publisher and DSP partnerships and operations, as well as strategic partnerships. His expanded role will streamline OpenX's engagement with partners across the ecosystem and accelerate the company’s continued growth.

“At Prebid, we believe that transparency, collaboration, and shared standards are vital to the future of programmatic advertising. Joel’s promotion to Chief Technology Officer is a well-deserved recognition of the qualities he has brought to the broader industry,” says Mike Racic, President, Prebid.org. “Through his work with the Prebid board and the wider community, he has consistently helped align the interests of publishers, platforms, and technology partners, while also building real solutions that serve buyers to foster trust, innovation, and sustainable growth across the ecosystem.”
