Exchange Bank Welcomes Karen Serpa as Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications Manager

SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Exchange Bank (OTC: EXSR) is pleased to announce the addition of Karen Serpa to its Marketing team as Assistant Vice President, Marketing Communications Manager.

Karen brings more than 15 years of marketing and communications experience, with a strong background in both the financial services and MedTech industries. Most recently, she played a key role in the rebranding of a local financial institution, contributing to its growth from nine branches in Sonoma County to 37 locations across California. In addition, she established and led the organization’s marketing department, developing consumer-facing products and campaigns that drove customer engagement and growth.

Earlier in her career, Karen served as a Marketing Manager in the MedTech industry, collaborating with both Fortune 50 companies and Silicon Valley startups. She is passionate about telling human-centered stories that connect people with products and services that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Karen holds a master’s degree in English literature from San Francisco State University, where she focused her thesis on the transference of trauma memory in South African and Holocaust literature.

She resides in Santa Rosa with her husband, their four-year-old twins, and their golden retriever. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and listening to live music. Karen is also a dedicated community leader, having co-founded the Santa Rosa Parks Foundation and currently serving on the board of the Children’s Museum of Sonoma County.
