Phixius by Nacha Wins 2025 Datos Impact Award for Best Innovation in Technology and Integration

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nacha today announced that Phixius by Nacha has been awarded the 2025 winner for Best Innovation in Technology and Integration by Datos Insights. The recognition highlights Phixius’ role in providing a secure, API-based account validation solution that streamlines access to multiple data providers through a single integration point.

Launched in 2021, the platform has already demonstrated significant impact. To date, Phixius has processed more than 10 million validation requests, with one client reporting operational improvements including reductions of more than 25% in ACH administrative returns, and measurable cost savings from reduced failed payment attempts.

The Phixius network provides data requesters with secure, single-point access to a growing network of data responders. For data requesters and data responders, Phixius eliminates the need for multiple bilateral contracts.

“Phixius works with businesses, payment processors and financial institutions to meet their account validation needs,” said Rob Unger, Managing Director of ACH Network Development at Nacha. “We are excited about this award from Datos Insights, which underscores our commitment to building solutions that reduce risk, improve efficiency and strengthen ACH Network quality.”

“Phixius by Nacha addresses a classic market fragmentation problem with a scalable, API-based solution that benefits all participants,” said Robin LoGiudice, Strategic Advisor of Commercial Banking and Payments at Datos Insights. “By connecting multiple data providers to requesters through one trusted framework, Phixius delivers both technical innovation and tangible business value across the payments industry.”

Looking ahead, Nacha plans to expand Phixius’ network of data providers and broaden the range of validation services offered, reflecting its vision to evolve the platform into a comprehensive payment risk management solution.
