The report outlines Perform’s progress in embedding environmental sustainability and social impact across its culture, operations, and portfolio, reinforcing the company’s belief that resilient, community-centered properties create long-term value for all stakeholders.

2024 Sustainability and Social Impact Report Highlights

Environmental Sustainability:

Perform advanced environmental initiatives focused on carbon emissions, energy, waste, and water to drive operational efficiency, while actively exploring renewable solutions:

  • 20% same-store year-over-year reduction for total Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the office portfolio
  • 2,500 tons of waste diverted from landfill across the office portfolio; 69% of construction waste diverted from landfill across the office portfolio, up from 51% in 2023
  • 100% landlord-controlled LED lighting at 40 retail sites, and 80%+ LED lighting at 11 additional sites
  • EV chargers installed at 9 retail locations
  • Active green lease clauses associated with customers across 6.3 million square feet of retail and office properties

Social Impact:

Perform brought its social impact commitments to life through initiatives that foster health, inclusion, and community resilience. From enhancing properties to deepening employee engagement, the company continued shaping and enriching the places they manage – responding to evolving needs of the people and communities they serve:

  • 11 properties earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating in 2024 to support customers’ health and well-being
  • Over 2,200 employee volunteer hours contributed across the portfolio
  • 107,000+ square feet of office and event space donated to nonprofits and community organizations

Expanding Access and Opportunity through Education:
