Easy Integration with AXIS Optimizer & XProtect Update Manager

AXIS Secure Entry is part of AXIS Optimizer, a suite of Axis-developed plugins designed to enhance the integration of Axis devices with Milestone XProtect. Fully supported by XProtect Update Manager, the complete AXIS Optimizer suite, along with AXIS Secure Entry, can be easily installed and updated remotely across distributed systems. Axis is the first third-party software included in XProtect Update Manager. Now, in addition to Axis cameras, the integration of physical access control will also benefit from this centralized, easy installation and maintenance process—saving time, reducing errors, and improving system uptime. Users can quickly install AXIS Optimizer on target machines through XProtect Update Manager with just a few clicks.

“Axis is dedicated to simplifying security operations while enhancing functionality,” said Derek Wang, project manager for access control, Axis Communications. “With AXIS Secure Entry for XProtect, we’re bringing access control and video together in one unified interface. This integration combines Axis’s world-class devices with Milestone’s award-winning VMS, offering a high-performance solution that meets the growing demand for greater integration and interoperability. By connecting these systems, we help users respond faster and manage security events with more confidence.”

With XProtect Update Manager, it’s simple and secure to install and upgrade everything in a controlled way from within XProtect. This deepened synergy between Axis and Milestone brings even greater efficiency and ease to our users in their everyday work.”
