Michael K. Green Joins Trellix as CISO

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trellix, the company delivering the future of AI-powered cybersecurity, today announced the hiring of Michael K. Green as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Green joins the Trellix leadership team and will oversee Trellix security posture, governance, and incident response.

Recent Trellix research found almost all CISOs (98%) have experienced a cyberattack in the last year. This appointment comes as Trellix continues to advance innovation within its AI-powered Trellix Security Platform to ensure all CISOs have the tooling and resources to best prevent and respond to threats. As a seasoned CISO, Green brings unparalleled perspective into the pressing challenges facing Trellix’s customers and the cybersecurity community at large, and will serve as a key advisor in product development and customer engagements, in addition to leading business security and resilience.

Green joins Trellix with more than 25 years of experience leading sophisticated global security engineering, operations, governance, and fraud programs across regulated industries in critical infrastructure, healthcare, and financial services. He has served in CISO and security leadership roles at leading organizations like Ameren, Express Scripts, Cigna, and MasterCard, and most recently served clients as a fractional CISO and CTO, helping mature security programs, protect customer and business data, and align cybersecurity strategy with service delivery and regulatory requirements.
