Church Mutual® Announces Key Leadership Appointments and Promotions

MERRILL, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer)1 announced two strategic officer appointments and two internal promotions, strengthening its leadership team to drive operational excellence.

David Endres has been named senior vice president – secretary and general counsel. Endres will lead Church Mutual’s legal and compliance strategy and operations. He brings more than 20 years of legal and compliance leadership in the property and casualty insurance industry.

Cory Van Den Heuvel joins Church Mutual as assistant vice president – IT, chief information security officer. Van Den Heuvel brings more than two decades of IT leadership experience. In his new role, he will oversee IT operations, infrastructure and security.

In addition to these new hires, Church Mutual is pleased to announce the following internal promotions:

  • Stephanie Lynn has been promoted to vice president – chief actuary, expanding her responsibilities to include full actuarial oversight while continuing to lead reinsurance.
  • Andy Bloechl has been promoted to vice president – chief risk officer, adding Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) to his current leadership of business transformation and data.
