Peraton Appoints Todd Borkey as Chief Technology Officer
RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Peraton today announced the appointment of Todd Borkey as chief technology officer (CTO). In this role, Borkey will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s technology strategy, research and development (R&D) portfolio, and strategic campaigns to create new capabilities and disruptive solutions for customers. In addition, Borkey will manage the Peraton Strategic Innovation Group, which includes the company’s applied research innovator known as Peraton Labs.

Borkey previously served as executive vice president and CTO at Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII). During his tenure, he founded their AI campaign which created a portfolio of industry-leading applications.

Prior to joining Peraton, Borkey held CTO roles at Alion Science and Technology, Thales Defense, and DRS, as well as engineering and management roles at Northrop Grumman and the historic AT&T Bell Labs. At Bell Labs, a heritage company of Peraton Labs, he served as project manager for the development of several world-record long-haul undersea optical communications networks.

He holds a master’s degree in engineering management from Stevens Institute of Technology and has an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics.
