Becker Announces 2025 Newt Becker Scholarship Recipients

130 CPA candidates will receive a full Becker Advantage CPA Exam Review course

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Becker, a leader in CPA Exam Review, has awarded the 2025 Newt D. Becker Scholarship to 130 CPA candidates. Since its launch, the Newt D. Becker CPA Exam Review Course Scholarship has awarded over $3 million to more than 1,500 aspiring CPAs who demonstrate high moral character, leadership, and a commitment to community service – qualities that embody the accounting industry and Becker’s founder, Newton D. Becker.

"Receiving the award allowed me to allot all of my time to studying instead of having to work throughout my summer of studying,” said Collin Kuntz, CPA and scholarship recipient.

The scholarship aims to support those who are deserving based on need and service move one step closer to earning their CPA license. This year, the Newt Becker Scholarship Program will provide 130 recipients with the Becker Advantage Package, which includes 24-month access to Becker’s CPA Exam Review course.

“The Newt Becker Scholarship meant that I could focus on studying and reaching my goal of attaining my CPA license, instead of worrying about how I was going to afford the program. Receiving the award allowed me to allot all of my time to studying instead of having to work throughout my summer of studying,” said Collin Kuntz, CPA and scholarship recipient.

In 2025, Becker received 439 total submissions, and the scholarship recipients represented 326 universities and 45 states plus Washington, D.C.
