lululemon Achieves Goal of Providing 10 Million People with Access to Critical Wellbeing Programs and Resources

Continues to expand reach announcing new 2025 Community Wellbeing cohort of 100 inspiring grant recipients

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--lululemon athletica inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) today announced that its Centre for Social Impact has achieved its goal of providing 10 million people by 2025 with access to resources and experiences that improve physical, mental, and social wellbeing for themselves and their communities. This milestone represents a significant step forward in the brand’s commitment to breaking down barriers to wellbeing access, working in partnership with global and locally led organizations to address systemic inequities and serve those impacted most. This achievement demonstrates the power of partnerships in driving meaningful change.

As part of this announcement, lululemon’s Centre for Social Impact is also introducing its 2025 Community Wellbeing Grant cohort of 100 inspiring community-led non-profit organizations. These grant recipients are advancing wellbeing equity in various ways, such as through expanding financial accessibility to wellbeing tools, removing barriers to movement and mindfulness practices, offering culturally responsive and trauma-informed programming to improve mental health outcomes, and building community driven solutions to systems change.

“At lululemon, we believe wellbeing is a fundamental right, and by supporting those facing the greatest challenges, we can strengthen communities around the world,” said Calvin McDonald, Chief Executive Officer, lululemon. “Since the launch of our Centre for Social Impact in 2021, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with nearly 300 organizations that are advancing inclusive access to wellbeing globally. Reaching this milestone is a testament to the dedication of these organizations and we look forward to collaborating with our 2025 cohort to continue this important work.”

Programming and partnerships funded by these grants have made a significant impact in three key areas: building community resilience and fostering connection, supporting communities through movement-based activities, and enabling greater access to mental health support. By supporting these organizations, lululemon has not only helped raise awareness and increase support for the wellbeing of all but also empowered individuals in 18 markets around the world with the tools to navigate challenges and thrive together.

“We are thrilled to welcome this year’s new cohort of grantees, whose work is already making a powerful impact in communities around the world to create more equitable access to wellbeing,” said Anne Wintroub, Head of Social Impact and Engagement, lululemon. “We know that different communities face different challenges, and we are excited to support this group of organizations working to unlock resources that meet the specific wellbeing needs of communities all across the globe.”

The impact of these Community Wellbeing grants is evident in the programs led by the organizations, each addressing the unique needs of their communities. The awarded organizations collectively received more than $4 million USD in grants, with the average grant amount being $43,000 USD. This funding will support organizations in positively impacting the lives of over 500,000 individuals globally.

lululemon’s Centre for Social Impact funds both global and local organizations, investing in community resilience and supporting those creating inclusive access to wellbeing. The company will share more details about future goals later this year, including its 2030 Impact goal.
