Peter Solomon Banda is an Assistant News Director within the world's most respected news organization, a role that follows a dynamic decades-long career in the field as a video journalist, text reporter, and ad hoc photographer. He has wide ranging experience in breaking news coverage in text, photo, and video and currently manages an all-formats team of journalists in four states. Banda most recently led a video team that produced some of the most iconic images of the devastating impact of COVID-19 in New York City as well as managed the on-the-ground team covering the assassination attempt on GOP presidential candidate Donald J. Trump.
