The six-acre site officially opened in July 2026. The initial inventory of limestone products includes 610s, No. 8, 810, No. 57 and No. 4 stone.

For Memphis Stone & Gravel, the River Yard facility marks a meaningful expansion of its product portfolio.

“We’re proud to say this site is officially open for business. Effectively, we’re putting the stone back in Memphis Stone & Gravel,” says Alan Parks, vice president of Memphis Stone & Gravel. “For decades, our business has primarily focused on sand and gravel products. This new integration with the materials from Warren Paving allows us to re-enter the stone market, expanding our product portfolio, and creating new opportunities to serve customers throughout the region.”

The new facility reinforces Granite’s home market strategy in the Southeast by widening the company’s materials portfolio in one of the fastest-growing regions of the country.

“By combining Warren Paving’s Slats Lucas Quarry resources with Memphis Stone & Gravel’s market presence, we’ve created an opportunity to support and strengthen our Memphis home market while delivering greater value to customers,” explains Clint Cleland, Granite vice president of materials market strategy.
