BNSF Logistics Appoints Tim Humbert as Chief Commercial Officer

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BNSF Logistics today announced the appointment of Tim Humbert as Chief Commercial Officer, effective August 3.

Tim joins BNSF Logistics with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience spanning transportation, logistics, supply chain management, commercial strategy, and intermodal operations. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large commercial organizations, transportation procurement, logistics operations, and strategic growth initiatives across North America. His leadership experience includes executive roles with Stoughton Trailers, International Motors, and C.H. Robinson, where he was responsible for commercial strategy, logistics operations, product development, and multimodal transportation solutions. Tim holds an MBA from Purdue University and a bachelor’s from Illinois State University.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Tim will lead BNSF Logistics' commercial organization, including Sales, Business Development, Commercial Operations, and Marketing. He will be responsible for advancing the company's commercial strategy, strengthening customer relationships, expanding strategic markets, and further positioning BNSF Logistics as a premier provider of integrated rail and multimodal logistics solutions.

Tim has extensive experience leading multimodal transportation strategies, transportation procurement, logistics network optimization, and commercial growth initiatives. He also serves within several industry organizations, including the Intermodal Association of North America and the University of Denver Transportation & Supply Chain Institute, reflecting his commitment to advancing the transportation and logistics industry.
