Presto Announces 100 Days of Celebration for America's 250th Birthday

American innovation, from the drive-thru to AI, is shaping the future of the restaurant industry

SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Presto Phoenix, Inc. (“Presto”), the leader in enterprise-grade Voice AI for quick-service restaurants (QSRs), today announced it will embark upon a series of celebrations for the 100 days leading up to America’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026, marking a historic milestone in the nation’s history and its enduring legacy of innovation.

As part of its “100 Days to 250” initiative, Presto will spotlight the uniquely American origins of the restaurant industry, including the drive-thru, franchising, and quick-service dining, while showcasing how artificial intelligence is shaping its future.

“You can’t spell America without AI and there would be no fast food industry without America. July 4th, 2026, will mark an immense milestone in America's history. Only 10 nations, empires, or monarchies in all of history have lasted continuously with the same governing system for 250+ years, and only one—the United States—is about to do it as a republic,” said Krishna Gupta, CEO of Presto.

“Today our nation carries the flag for yet another technology revolution and, regardless of our individual political views, it is important for companies like ours to celebrate this country, its contributions to the world, and the opportunities it provides.”

“Quick service restaurants are one of America’s most influential and exported innovations,” Gupta added. “At Presto, we are proud to help lead the next chapter, bringing AI into the drive-thru and into the operating system, enabling the industry to scale, adapt, and thrive for the next 250 years.”
