Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., LLC Awarded $17 Million Contract for Refurbishing a U.S. Power Plant

B&W to Improve Efficiency and Reliability to Support Increased Baseload Generation

AKRON, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) (NYSE: BW) announced today that its Babcock & Wilcox Construction Co., LLC (BWCC) subsidiary was awarded a contract for more than $17 million for service work at a U.S. coal-fired power plant.

BWCC will install replacement steam and reheat piping on one unit at the plant, with project completion anticipated in Spring 2026.
