LIVONIA, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cabinetworks Group, the country’s largest privately owned cabinet manufacturer, recently announced it has appointed Erik Wille as its chief technology officer. Wille joined Cabinetworks in 2023 as senior vice president and chief information security officer and successfully led numerous initiatives, including rebuilding the company’s Information Security Management System, launching a new security awareness program, and driving IT strategy to shift from delivering technology to driving customer-focused business enablement. Solid results in this role quickly positioned him for growth and succession to the office of CTO.

“Erik has brought a fresh, technology-forward perspective to our drive for operational excellence,” said Jeff Jackson, CEO of Cabinetworks Group. “As a hands-on leader with a natural ability to form genuine partnerships with his peers and across the broader organization, he has unified his team, enabled faster problem solving and delivered strong results. Erik has already accomplished a great deal in the role, and I am proud to have him on our team.”

In addition to leading all IT aspects of the company, Wille will also oversee the advancement of Cabinetworks Group’s IT operations into a strategic enabler for the business.

Prior to joining Cabinetworks, Wille held leadership roles of increasing responsibility at large companies, including American Axle & Manufacturing and Penske Automotive Group. He also serves as co-chair of Evanta Detroit CISO Community and CEO and president of CXO Xchange.

Wille holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, as well as a Master of Science in Information Assurance and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Walsh College.
