DLP tools that theoretically monitor sensitive file uploads have existed for ages, however the reliance on watermarks, regexes, and pattern matching constrains their effectiveness. Legacy DLP cannot reliably identify sensitive files, resulting in an unacceptably high false-positive rate, and the only alternative is turning it off or leaving it in a monitor mode which eliminates usefulness.

Dopamine DLP leverages today’s technologies to rip and replace the old-school regex methodology with a large language model’s comprehension. This can classify and block data-in-motion while uploading files with a high degree of accuracy, enabling security admins to improve their security posture and curb risky behavior without sifting through an ocean of alerts.
