Conquer Padel Accelerates U.S. Expansion of World’s Fastest Growing Sport: Signs Franchisees in New Jersey and Orlando, opens Flagship Tempe Club

TEMPE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Conquer Padel, the first U.S. operator to introduce a franchise model for the world’s fastest growing sport, continues its rapid expansion, today announced the signing of its second regional franchisee – an Orlando-based group paving the way for growth into Florida. Conquer has also opened its flagship club in Tempe, AZ, the first of 50 planned nationwide in the next year.

The new Orlando group is led by racquet sport veteran and business executive Matthew Sands (founder/president of multi-million dollar underground utility contractor SanPik) and Justin Flynn, Director of Pickleball & Tennis at the Eagle Harbor Tennis & Pickleball Club in Jacksonville. The group plans to open three initial Florida locations, with Orlando targeted first and an anticipated opening in August 2026.

Northeast (New Jersey) franchisees – Baker Family

Conquer awarded its first U.S. franchises to Alex, Greg and Robert Baker, experienced multi-unit operators who previously owned and operated more than 20 Planet Fitness locations. The Bakers plan to develop up to 50 clubs nationwide, beginning with four in the Northeast. Site selection is already underway.

National Tour: Padel to the people

To accelerate the introduction and grassroots adoption of the world’s fastest growing sport outside of the U.S., Conquer will launch the Conquer Padel Tour, a series of pop-up court activations at high-profile locations. The tour is co-sponsored by leading padel brand Siux, global leading player and court management platform Playtomic, pop-up court manufacturer Instant Padel, Celsius energy drinks, and others. It will feature clinics for players of all abilities with an emphasis on introducing the game to new players, open play, pro exhibitions, charity fundraisers and more in major cities including Los Angeles, New York City, Austin, and Orlando. The concept has already been previewed to overwhelming response at Conquer Tempe with a mobile court experience that drew sold out crowds and introduced the sport to hundreds of new players – a number of whom signed up for memberships.

Additional expansion milestone – Silicon Slopes/Utah

Conquer recently announced it has submitted permitting applications and signed a 10-year lease for a 30,000-sq-ft signature club in the booming Salt Lake City suburb of Lehi, Utah known as the Silicon Slopes. As with all Conquer facilities, it will feature seven courts and premium amenities. Opening is targeted for Q1 2026.
