The best new reality show takes dating out of the equation but hooks that same audience with a competitive twist to the reality TV genre. Filmed aboard a 44-foot yacht off the coast of Miami, Reel Rivals brings together big-personality social media creators who face off in mini-games and unpredictable fishing challenges, all with a $20,000 prize on the line.
“This award means more to me than I can put into words,” says Isla Moon, producer and host. “I created Reel Rivals to show a different side of creators—especially those who come from the adult space. My mission has always been to humanize sex workers and give them a chance to be seen as athletes, competitors, and storytellers, without the labels people put on them. Winning Best New Show tells me that people are ready for something different and taking a risk on an idea you believe in can change your life. I’m so grateful to the National Reality TV Awards, to my cast, and to my team for believing in this crazy dream with me. This is just the beginning.”
Reel Rivals Season 2 introduces bigger fish, bigger boats, and richer subplots—highlighting interpersonal dynamics between cast members and offering more variety in scene structure from episode to episode.

About Reel Rivals
On the shores of Miami, contestants must navigate a series of high-stakes competitive fishing challenges. But there's a twist. To win the cash prize and the title of ultimate fishing champion, these social media creators will have to outplay their opponents without any professional angling experience or face elimination. Produced and hosted by Isla Moon, a travel influencer and angler, the series takes trending, big-personality creators and puts them on a yacht together, exposing them to more bait than they bargained for and cheeky situations if they don’t reel it in.
