As many as 1 in 20 dogs may experience a seizure in their lifetime. There are many causes of seizures. Idiopathic epilepsy, the most common cause of seizures in the dog, is an inherited disorder, but its exact cause is unknown. Other causes include liver disease, kidney failure, brain tumors, brain trauma, and toxins.

“Epilepsy in dogs is a deeply personal and difficult journey,” said Dr. Asaf Dagan, cofounder and Chief Veterinary Officer of PetPace. “By offering intelligent, validated seizure tracking, we hope to enable earlier intervention and more effective treatments—backed by real-world data.

  • Clear, actionable summaries: Visual trend reports make it easier for vets and pet owners to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Intelligent reporting: Supports long-term treatment planning and fine-tuning of medications.
