Digital Startup Drive Health Announces Establishment of A Clinical Advisory Council

The Council Will Provide Frontline Insight and Strategic Guidance to Support Product Development

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Digital health startup Drive Health announces the official establishment of its Clinical Advisory Council (CAC). The council will provide clinical insight, frontline perspectives, and strategic guidance to support the development and improvement of Drive Health’s flagship product, Avery, a Personalized Agentic Caregiver.

Drive Health developed Avery to aid healthcare professionals, namely nurses, with routine tasks, patient outreach, patient education, and ongoing support through a patient’s full continuum of care. However, deployment of an agentic tool has not always brought the positive hopes that companies envisioned and often results in more work for providers. To help thwart any of these unforeseen challenges, the CAC will be tasked with assessing capabilities and processes so that the introduction of Avery to a healthcare team means more support for patients and returning time to healthcare providers.

The council will consist of ten members recruited from a variety of healthcare settings and roles, including academia, health systems, nursing organizations, and other healthcare industries. Of the ten membership positions, two spots will be reserved for practicing nurses, recruited via open application. Drive Health plans to host the inaugural meeting in November of 2025 in conjunction with a Nursing & AI Symposium.

The CAC will be chaired by Drive Health’s Chief Nursing Officer, Dr. Leeza Constantoulakis. “Our team is dedicated to the utilization of emerging technology for the true betterment of the healthcare industry, and patient care. As we build an agentic tool for nurses, it is imperative and only fitting that nurses, from all facets of healthcare, are part of the development. We recognize where our combined skillsets and vast wealth of experience-based knowledge can best serve the sector, and this council is a way for us to practice that in a tangible, results-driven way,” said Constantoulakis.

“We’re incredibly proud to launch the Clinical Advisory Council. Now more than ever, healthcare professionals should know how to best tap into the wealth of resources that emerging technology can provide – both safely and ethically. This council, made up of an exceptional mix of nursing talent, will be critical in aiding the advancement of Avery and our mission,” added Drive Health Co-Founder Kevin Longoria.

Drive Health will begin official recruitment for its two remaining Clinical Advisory Council positions today, August 12th. Application qualifications include:

1) An active, unencumbered RN license
2) Current employment in at least part-time direct patient care
3) Willingness and ability to attend one in-person and three virtual meetings.

Interested applicants should send the following:

1) Resume / CV
2) One-page cover letter explaining why they should be selected to serve on the council
3) A letter of support from their employer

Please send application and/or questions to CAC@drivehealth.ai no later than September 2, 2025.
