Healthcare on Aisle One: OnMed Launches New CareStations at Fiesta Mart in Fort Worth and Missouri City

FORT WORTH, Texas & MISSOURI CITY, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OnMed, the nation’s leading hybrid healthcare tech company, continues to transform the way people access care, with two new OnMed CareStations launching this July at Fiesta Mart locations in Fort Worth and Missouri City. The Fort Worth CareStation is made possible through grants from Molina Healthcare of Texas, whose support ensures the CareStation can deliver on-site, tech-enabled primary and urgent care services—at no cost to visitors. These CareStations – conveniently placed within trusted neighborhood grocery stores– represent another step in expanding healthcare access in everyday spaces. Shoppers will now have the ability to connect instantly with licensed clinicians in a private, secure environment, right where they are.

“We’re transforming how and where people get healthcare. Every grocery store, every campus, every community center is now a potential front door to healthcare."- Karthik Ganesh, CEO of OnMed.

In a state where 35 counties have no doctor at all, access to care isn’t just a convenience, it’s a crisis. OnMed’s CareStations are closing that gap. These private, high-tech health hubs offer real-time consultations with licensed physicians, supported by advanced diagnostic tools such as thermal imaging, real-time scanning, and remote vital signs monitoring. Each self-contained “Clinic-in-a-Box” is designed to deliver the same personal, attentive experience patients expect from a traditional clinic visit. No waiting room or commute needed.

Texas is leading the way in this nationwide shift, now home to five operational OnMed CareStations across communities including Milam, Navarro, Bruni, Fort Worth, and Missouri City. A sixth location in McAllen is slated to go live later this month, further expanding OnMed’s reach across the Lone Star State as the country’s largest hub for hybrid healthcare innovation. OnMed CareStations are already improving care delivery in homeless shelters, correctional facilities, foster care centers, youth centers, universities and airports.

“This is what healthcare access looks like in 2025,” said OnMed CEO Karthik Ganesh. “Texas has shown bold leadership in embracing our model, because the need is real, and the opportunity is enormous. From rural deserts to busy cities, we’re delivering care where it’s needed most.”

“We’re transforming how and where people get healthcare. Every grocery store, every campus, every community center is now a potential front door to healthcare. That’s the future we’re building; accessible, immediate, and designed for the realities of real life,” says Karthik Ganesh, CEO of OnMed.
