Becker Releases AI Study Tool to Improve Exam Review Experience

ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Becker, a leader in exam review for accounting and finance professionals—including CPA, CMA, CIA, and EA—has announced the release of Newt AI, a new AI learning and study assistant that will support students in their exam review journey.

Newt AI will help students understand key concepts, clarify answer explanations, and elaborate on reasoning as they practice questions and prepare for high stakes credentialing exams. Built using Becker content and curriculum with contextual, general knowledge from large language models, Newt is trained on the content of each credentialing exam and provides accurate and up to date responses.

More than 1,000 current Becker students have tested the beta version of Newt AI and have reported that Newt AI is a “game changer.” 98% of beta users noted that Newt was easy to use, 97% said they would continue to use Newt, and 96% said Newt was helpful in their exam prep.

Newt AI will be included in all Becker CPA, CMA, and EA exam review packages beginning May 21, 2025 and will be added to Becker—The IIA CIA Exam Review later this year. At launch, Becker students will have access to Newt AI when working on course practice questions, during practice tests in “Practice Mode” and when reviewing practice tests in “Exam Mode,” and when reviewing the results of mini and simulated exams. Students will be able to freely converse with Newt AI and will also have access to pre-defined prompts.
