Availity Appoints Michael Gaven as Chief Growth Officer

Seasoned technology executive brings track record of growth, customer success, and operational excellence to expand Availity’s market leadership

With more than three decades of experience leading customer-focused, growth-oriented teams at some of the world’s most prominent technology companies—including Salesforce and Oracle—Gaven joins Availity at a pivotal time for the company and the healthcare industry.

In his new role, Gaven will lead Availity’s growth strategy across sales, marketing, and client experience functions, with a focus on unlocking greater value for customers, expanding platform adoption, and accelerating the company’s position as a category leader in intelligent healthcare information exchange.

Gaven most recently served as Senior Vice President of Healthcare at Salesforce, where he was responsible for the company’s payer and provider go-to-market strategy. Under his leadership, Salesforce’s healthcare segment consistently delivered double-digit growth, significantly improved customer retention, and built a destination organization known for operational excellence. Prior to Salesforce, he held senior leadership roles at Oracle, where he led cloud solution teams across retail and service industries.

Gaven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management from Pace University. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and has three grown children. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
