Trump at a State Dinner at Lusail Palace in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. In addition to President Trump, Chairman Galán met with U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and Minister of Foreign Trade of the State of Qatar Ahmad Mohammed Al Sayed.

With electric demand in the United States projected to grow by as much as 50% between 2035-2050, Iberdrola and Avangrid are demonstrating the need for critical investments in transmission, distribution, and grid expansion, modernization, and resilience.
