Announcing Highline Beta ETH, Our Second Vertical Venture Studio

Highline Beta ETH is focused on building & funding ventures within the Ethereum ecosystem, with a specific focus on B2B use cases that blend TradFi & Web3.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today we’re announcing the launch of our second vertical venture studio: Highline Beta ETH.

We’re partnering with Nigel Da Costa, a seasoned entrepreneurial executive with two exits, who joins Highline Beta ETH as Managing Director.

Nigel has spent the last 5+ years immersed in the crypto community, building and funding new ventures. Most recently he was a Founding Member of Dtravel, a peer-to-peer vacation rental platform built on the Nite protocol and powered by Base. Prior to that, Nigel spent 7 years at Airbnb.

“Some of the most disruptive companies have been born in uncertain times. We believe there’s no better moment to build and create industry-changing businesses, while strengthening vibrant communities alongside our exceptional team of investors and advisors.” - Nigel Da Costa

In addition, Dmitry Buterin joins as a Venture Partner. Founder of three multi-million dollar businesses, angel investor/mentor in blockchain startups, and proud father of Vitalik Buterin (creator of Ethereum).

"As an early and ongoing investor in Highline Beta, I'm proud to support the building and funding of ETH ventures that transform industries and generate broad societal impact." - Dmitry Buterin.

Our goal is to build a concentrated portfolio of up to 10 startups, leveraging an established Ethereum ecosystem to accelerate portfolio success.

We’re now validating our first startup in Highline Beta ETH, focused on the wealth management space. We expect to share more about this venture in the coming months.

In addition, if you’re an investor, founder or corporate interested in the Ethereum space, please reach out.
