Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union Announces New Board Chair & Welcomes New Board Member

Additions will continue to advance the credit union’s growth strategy and commitment to serving its members across Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union (Affinity Plus) is pleased to announce the election of Chad Trench as the new Board Chair of its Board of Directors, as well as the election of Isaac Durant as a new Board member.

Chad Trench has been a loyal member of the Board since 2020. Prior to joining the Board, Trench served for three years as a volunteer on the Supervisory Committee. He is currently the Director of Operations at Special Olympics Minnesota, where he previously held a Director of Development role. Outside of work, Trench has a strong passion for youth sports, inclusion and mental health awareness, areas that align with Affinity Plus’s commitment to championing community engagement and empowerment.

Isaac Durant has been a dedicated member of Affinity Plus for many years, serving on the credit union’s Supervisory Committee for five consecutive years, including multiple terms as Chair. With a Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, Durant is a software engineering leader known for leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and modernization. He is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of engineering professionals and brings extensive experience in technology and leadership to the Board.
