CW Advisors Acquires $1.3 Billion New Jersey RIA

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CW Advisors, LLC (“CWA”), a registered investment advisor (“RIA”), headquartered in Boston, announces it has acquired Delta Financial Group, Inc. (“Delta”), a fee-only RIA with $1.3 billion of assets under management (AUM) located in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

“We are excited to welcome another excellent group of professionals to our firm,” said CWA Chief Executive Officer Scott Dell’Orfano. “The Delta team brings further expertise to our organization; enhances our greatest asset – our people; and expands our robust presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, which now includes six offices, from metro New York City to Richmond, Virginia.”

“The CWA team has guided the integration process exceptionally well,” said Sean Donovan, Partner of Delta. “We are confident the combination of our firms will only benefit our clients and our team.”

“We are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for both the Delta team and our clients,” added Joe Macellara, Partner of Delta.

In addition to Delta, CWA has also acquired Leathe & Associates, an RIA in Eliot, ME. Leathe & Associates was founded by Jeffrey Leathe in 2004.

“Jeff is a seasoned executive with a terrific group of clients,” Dell’Orfano added. “Joining CWA will allow Jeff to not only expand the offering for his existing clients but to also add new clients and to continue to grow. We are delighted to have Jeff as part of our team.”

Terms of the transactions, which closed earlier this month, are not disclosed. Following the acquisitions, CWA now has 15 offices across the country, over 125 employees, and more than $12 billion of AUM.

Gladstone Group Inc. facilitated the transaction with Delta.
