One-day Summit to Drive Action to End Extreme Poverty

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Global Citizen NOW, the summit driving action to end extreme poverty, returns to New York City for its fourth year, on Wednesday, April 30. Leaders in government, policy, advocacy, the private sector, media, entertainment, and philanthropy will convene to drive action to end extreme poverty.

In 2025, the NOW summit series will continue to grow internationally, as Global Citizen brings together leaders and advocates from around the world to drive meaningful action to end extreme poverty.

During Global Citizen NOW, the Global Citizen Prize and Cisco Youth Leadership Award will be presented to honor young leaders from around the world making extraordinary efforts to impact their communities, emceed by Liza Koshy, with a line-up of high-profile presenters. The awards will honor five young people who are taking action to combat climate change, address systemic barriers, empower girls, and champion change in all its forms.
