Senior Whole Health to be Renamed Molina Healthcare

Company renews Senior Care Options contract and launches new One Care program

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Molina Healthcare, Inc. (“Molina”) announced its state health plan in Massachusetts, known as Senior Whole Health, will do business under the Molina Healthcare brand name, effective January 1, 2026.

This announcement comes as the health plan renewed its Senior Care Options (SCO) contract, ensuring continued high-quality, coordinated care for eligible older adults. In addition, Molina will expand its commitment to the Commonwealth by launching a new One Care program serving adults ages 21–64 who are dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. This expansion will strengthen access to whole-person care and reflects Molina's long-standing mission to improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations.

According to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, nearly 300,000 residents are dually eligible, underscoring the critical need for expanded services that provide integrated physical, behavioral, and social supports.
