Fireworks, Drone Shows and Seasonal Celebrations Coming to World’s Largest Marriott Brand Hotel

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orlando World Center Marriott announced today it will expand its 12 Days of Holiday Fun celebration this December with more activations than ever, plus new seasonal festivities leading up to the winter season. Guests visiting between Fall and the New Year will enjoy a series of signature experiences, from fall festivities and gourmet buffets, to nightly winter holiday entertainment.

From December 20-31, the resort’s 12 Days of Holiday Fun includes a stunning drone show, fireworks extravaganza, hands-on experiences, and food & beverage pop-ups like the Naughty and Nice Bar. Daily holiday-themed activities include poolside silent disco, trivia, arts & crafts, photo opportunities, dive-in movies at Falls Pool and more.

Lobby décor will greet guests with holiday cheer including an oversized gingerbread village made from over 5,000 gingerbread bricks created by the on-site pastry team. New this year, families can also step into the Holiday Village featuring interactive booths for seasonal activities, sweet treats like baked goods and holiday drinks, and meet & greet opportunities with seasonal characters. Guests will also enjoy train and horse-drawn carriage rides.

Tasty Fall Fun (October)

On October 10-11, spend your afternoon experiencing the resort’s on-site Biergarten in partnership with local brewery, Crooked Can Brewing Company. This spirited Biergarten will include music, games and a variety of craft beer and mocktails to taste. On October 25, enter the resort’s speakeasy to test your bartending skills with a spooky spirits class. For just $20, learn new tricks from the resort’s talented bartenders and shake up your own creepy cocktails and magical mocktails.

Halloween Weekend (October 31-November 2)

Thanksgiving Weekend Celebration (November 27–30)

Run, walk and enjoy the fresh air with an on-property Turkey Trot, then enjoy a Thanksgiving feast at Latitude & Longitude. Soak in the holiday season with the resort’s annual holiday decorations, appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and holiday dive-in movies at Falls Pool.

Signature Nightly Entertainment (December 27-31)

On December 27, Mermaid Elle® and friends splash and swim around Falls Pool and interact with guests during a meet and greet. Meet the mythical mermaids, play with glowing swag and bubble machines during the ultimate Mermaid & Glow Party.

A dazzling drone show will fly above the resort as hundreds of drones paint beautiful pictures in the sky. The 12-minute show takes to the sky on December 28 and 30 for hotel guests.

Finally, on December 29 and 31, enjoy stunning firework displays with prime viewing spots throughout the property. New Year’s Eve Celebration (December 31)

Ring in the new year with the ultimate pool party – complete with a live poolside DJ and thrilling sports playing on the jumbo TVs above Falls Pool. For guests 21+, join the Bourbon and Bubbles Party from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the lobby. Complete the celebration with a laser show at 8 p.m. and fireworks at 11:59 p.m. to kick off 2026.

To spread a little extra holiday cheer, the resort team will deliver stockings and décor to your guestroom.
