WHEEL OF FORTUNE® Spins Into Philadelphia for Exciting Contestant Search at Rivers Event Center!

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The beloved, long-running game show Wheel of Fortune is looking for contestants in the City of Brotherly Love! 6abc is excited to announce that a team of Wheel producers will be at The Event Center at Rivers Philadelphia this September for a one-of-a-kind contestant search.

It’s been more than a decade since Wheel of Fortune last held in-person auditions in Philadelphia. This event is one of only a few live castings nationally that Wheel producers will host for the upcoming season.

“The Wheel of Fortune fan base in and around Philadelphia is incredible, and we’re excited to tap into that passion to find future contestants,” said Bellamie Blackstone, executive producer, Wheel of Fortune. “We hope the fans bring some of that famous Philly spirit to the event so we can welcome those loyal Wheel Watchers in our studio to spin the Wheel!”

Wheel contestant hopefuls will have the opportunity to meet with producers and show them they have what it takes to make it to the Wheel of Fortune stage! Attendees also have the chance to win fun prizes, and there is no cost for admission.

People 21 and older are invited to attend at The Event Center at Rivers Philadelphia, located at 1001 N. Delaware Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19125.

• Thursday, Sept. 18 | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 19 | 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Contestants may begin lining up at 10 a.m. each morning of the casting call.

Parking at Rivers is free, and a free shuttle runs throughout the day from the property’s main entrance and Riversuites at The Battery, Rivers’ boutique hotel across neighboring Penn Treaty Park.
