OSI Systems Receives $34 Million Contract for Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Systems

HAWTHORNE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OSI Systems, Inc. (the “Company” or “OSI Systems”) (NASDAQ: OSIS) today announced that its Security division has been awarded a contract worth approximately $34 million by an international customer. The Company expects to deploy multiple units of its Z Portal® high-throughput inspection system for screening trucks and cargo, as well as its CarView™ InLane Portal for scanning passenger vehicles. These systems are designed for use in many environments, including ports and border crossings. As part of the contract, the Company will also manage civil works, provide training, and perform multi-year service and maintenance support.
