Breast Cancer Canada launches MEGABike Campaign

Up to 30 riders hit the road to fuel life-saving research

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Breast Cancer Canada is proud to launch their national MEGABike campaign rolling into cities across the country in a high-impact fundraiser that drives critical research forward.

Starting July 17 in London, Ontario and culminating September 29 in Victoria, British Columbia, MEGABike 2025 invites teams of up to 29 riders to power a 30-seat bike through city streets, raising funds and awareness for the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world: breast cancer.

“MEGABike is a symbol of what we can accomplish when we move forward together,” says Kimberly Carson, CEO of Breast Cancer Canada. “Every dollar raised supports Canadian research that improves outcomes for Canadians facing breast cancer, bringing us closer to a future where every patient receives the individualized care they need, regardless of where they live in the country.”

The MEGABike tour spans seven provinces, with events scheduled in more than 25 cities across Canada, including major stops such as Edmonton, Calgary, Halifax, Toronto, Montreal, St. John's, and Vancouver.

Teams can register at one of two partnership levels:

  • $2,500 – Half Bike (14 seats)
  • $4,000 – Full Bike (29 seats)

Participants can ride with friends, colleagues, staff, or other community members in support of breast cancer research. Individuals without a full team are encouraged to join the waitlist to be matched with others in their city.

All funds raised support Breast Cancer Canada’s mission to advance precision oncology research, helping to match the right treatment to the right patient at the right time.
