University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies Issues Call for Proposals to Annual Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit

Submissions of internal and external presentation proposals for virtual summit are due June 8

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of Phoenix College of Doctoral Studies announces the call for proposals for the upcoming 2025 Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit. This year’s theme, "Exploring Scholarship, Society, and Change," is dedicated to the exploration of scholarship’s role in shaping society and fostering meaningful change. Presentation proposals that showcase completed or ongoing research, theoretical or conceptual scholarship, or effective practices are welcome for submission by June 8, 2025. Accepted submissions will also be highlighted in an edition of the College’s Phoenix Scholar™ publication.

“Our annual Summit has seen increasing attendance and engagement among our own scholars as well as with an external audience,” states Hinrich Eylers, Ph.D., P.E., vice provost of the College of Doctoral Studies. “The Summit seeks to foster a dynamic collaboration, bringing together scholar-practitioners, subject matter experts, and other thought leaders from across disciplines to critically examine how education, research, and intellectual engagement can address pressing societal challenges. We are pleased to invite external scholars to submit through the call for proposals and participate in this practitioner-focused, community building event.”

Through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, Summit participants will explore the transformative prospects of research, highlighting innovative approaches and successful collaborations where specific research highlighted might have a notable positive impact on communities.

Submissions to the call for proposals are encouraged from external scholars in addition to all stakeholders, including faculty, administrators, students, alumni, staff, and industry partners. As the Summit continues to grow each year, so do the demands for participation in the review process. This year, as a part of the submission process, the College is requesting all submitters also commit to reviewing two to three proposals.

Submission guidelines include a summary requirement. All summaries will be included in a commemorative edition of the College’s Phoenix Scholar™ publication.

The most recent edition of the Phoenix Scholar™ is dedicated to the proceedings of the 2024 Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit and includes summaries of all presentations as well as feature articles on presentation topics.

Proposals should be submitted by Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 11:59 PM (MST). Presentations may include a maximum of three (3) presenters. Presenters can be listed on a maximum of three (3) presentations. Only completed proposals submitted through the Submission Portal before the deadline will receive consideration.

Visit the Knowledge Without Boundaries Summit event page to learn more about the Summit and the process for submitting proposals.
