SBSB Eastham Adds Veteran Litigator Margo Ornelas

Ornelas joins the firm as a partner in SBSB Eastham’s Houston office

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham PLLC (SBSB Eastham) announced today the addition of veteran trial attorney Margo Ornelas, who joins as a partner in the firm’s Houston office.

Ms. Ornelas focuses her practice on cases involving the Defense Base Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act. She has extensive experience in general civil litigation, including products liability, wrongful death, toxic torts such as asbestos and silica, medical malpractice, professional liability, complex insurance disputes and general negligence matters.

Before joining SBSB Eastham, she was a senior trial attorney at AIG. She also worked as Of Counsel for Sheehy, Ware & Pappas, PC, which is now Pappas Grubbs Price.

Ms. Ornelas earned her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center and her undergraduate degree from Trinity University. In addition to her casework, Ms. Ornelas works pro bono for several Houston organizations and is active in her church.
