Elizabeth Pulos Joins Inspectorio as Head of Compliance, Sustainability, and Traceability Innovation

Pulos will inform Inspectorio’s product roadmap and lead the company’s Center of Excellence, designed to drive innovation and industry best practices

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Inspectorio, the leading global supply chain solution provider for sourcing, sustainability, compliance, and quality, today announced that Elizabeth (Liz) Pulos has joined the company as head of compliance, sustainability, and traceability innovation.

A leader in corporate environmental and social responsibility for the footwear and apparel industries, Pulos will draw upon her extensive expertise in compliance and sustainability to help guide Inspectorio’s product development, advise on go-to-market strategies, and enhance collaboration between brands and their suppliers. In this new role, she will also lead Inspectorio’s Center of Excellence, which is designed to foster innovation and drive best practices in supply chain sustainability, compliance, and traceability among brands, suppliers, and technology vendors.

Before joining Inspectorio, Pulos was the director of global sustainability at Converse (Nike Inc.), where she created the brand’s first enterprise sustainability strategy, including the launch and scaling of critical initiatives and pilots across data and reporting, materials sourcing, and traceability.

Previously, Pulos served as Macy’s sustainability and social responsibility lead. There, she led the development of the retailer’s sustainability strategy and company-wide ESG scorecard, and managed the brand’s responsible sourcing program, human rights strategy, and sustainable materials roadmap. Prior to that, Pulos directed the social compliance factory certification program at Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP), a global non-profit organization.

“With experience from the factory level all the way to investor-facing reporting, few individuals match the wealth of ESG experience that Liz brings to Inspectorio,” said Chirag Patel, CEO, Inspectorio. “With Liz at the helm of our Center of Excellence, Inspectorio will be able to foster collaboration around leading trends in product and supply chain integrity that align with true industry priorities.”

“Supply chains have never been scrutinized the way they are now,” said Pulos. “I look forward to working with Inspectorio and our clients to not only understand the evolution of the compliance, sustainability, and traceability landscape, but also chart a collective path forward in which all parties, from vendors to brands, work toward the same goals.”
