More than $10 million donated over two decades

Esmark, Inc. and James P. Bouchard, Founder and Chairman of Esmark, Inc., today announced its 2024 charitable contributions total nearly $200,000, supporting the Company and Bouchard’s decades-long history of philanthropic commitment. Bouchard and Esmark charitable donations have totaled more than $10 million since 2003.

“Giving back to the communities where we live, work and play has always been a key component of our business model,” said Bouchard. “From cancer research to education, from local festivals to helping underprivileged families, our donations have and will continue to help people and communities.”

Highlights of 2024 charitable contribution recipients include:

- American Cancer Society -- $10,000
- Fern Hollow Nature Center -- $5,000
- Hinsdale Central High School -- $5,000
- Hon City of Hope -- $12,000
- National Kidney Foundation (SDI) -- $10,000
- Oceana County Community Foundation -- $25,500
- Pittsburgh Kids Foundation -- $5,000
- Ruth Eckerd Hall Foundation -- $8,000
- Sewickley Borough, Pa. -- $6,500

Bouchard is the founder, chairman, and CEO of Esmark Inc. (and its predecessor companies) as well as the chairman and CEO of the controlling shareholder, the Bouchard Group, which was formed in 1995.
