3Phase Adds Halley to its Family of IUEC Independents

Strengthens presence in Northern New England

CANTON, Mass. & NEWBURYPORT, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3Phase Elevator, a leading independent elevator and escalator services provider, today announced that it has merged with Halley Elevator, a provider of commercial elevator maintenance, repair and modernization services in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. This merger strengthens 3Phase’s presence in Northern Massachusetts and allows both companies to expand further in New Hampshire. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Halley Elevator is an independent, family-owned elevator company founded and run by Jeff Halley and Frank Halley. The company has been serving customers for over 15 years with an emphasis on providing outstanding service and long-term value through its commitment to customers. Jeff and Frank are owners of the combined company and will continue to serve customers under the Halley Elevator brand.

Jeff Halley commented, “We are extremely excited to capture growth opportunities along the 495 corridor and into southern New Hampshire. We believe 3Phase is the right partner to help us with this initiative and are thrilled about the next phase of our journey as an independent elevator services company with an improved set of digital capabilities and resources.”

“In the Northeast, New Hampshire has always been an important growth initiative for 3Phase. Halley gives us the expertise and experience to improve service in that market and find ways to expand even further into Northern New England,” said Mike Strachan, CEO of 3Phase Elevator. “After spending time with Jeff and Frank, it was clear they share the same commitment to customers and service as 3Phase.”
