Sincere Foundation Announces 14 New Grants; Surpasses Half a Million Dollars Awarded to Massachusetts Organizations
Grant recipients include organizations that address the basic needs of a community — food security, housing stability, and safe spaces
FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sincere Foundation (www.sincere.com) today announced that it has awarded $175,000 in new grants to fourteen nonprofit organizations that address basic needs in Massachusetts. This most recent round of funding brings the Foundation to a total of $560,000 awarded to 33 organizations in less than two years of operation.
“Sincere Foundation is excited to reach this milestone and recognize the Massachusetts nonprofits that received our first half a million dollars in funding,” said Rebecca Reiner, Executive Director, Sincere Foundation. “We are honored to help empower exceptional organizations and the essential work they do in their communities, and we look forward to continuing this support in 2025 and beyond.”
Grants from Sincere Foundation support programs that address the basic needs of a community: food security, housing stability, and safe spaces. Boston-based technology company Sincere Corporation created Sincere Foundation in 2023. The Foundation is made possible by the support of the Company’s family of brands: Punchbowl®, Lovebird®, Timehop®, and Memento®.
Among the grantees in Sincere Foundation’s latest round of funding is Westborough nonprofit Dignity Matters, which received $20,000 as a first-time grant recipient. Dignity Matters addresses a critical and growing need — free access to menstrual care products and underwear for women and girls who are homeless or living in poverty in Massachusetts. SNAP benefits cannot be used for the purchase of menstrual care products. Dignity Matters creates safe spaces for women by providing them with fundamental dignity, improved well-being, and the ability to continue their lives — attend their job or school, keep medical appointments, and care for their families — without interruption or embarrassment. Dignity Matters works with 175 nonprofit partners, serving 16,000 women and girls each month. The grant from Sincere Foundation will help Dignity Matters in the operation of their expanded warehouse facility in Westborough.
“At Sincere, we build technology that brings you closer and helps show you care to the people in your life who matter the most,” said Matt Douglas, Founder & CEO, Sincere Corporation. “We’re proud to support these grant recipients with our Foundation, and work towards a future where everyone has the opportunity to celebrate, recognize milestones, and honor memories.”
