Travelers Institute Announces Wednesdays with Woodward® Winter Webinar Schedule

Topics to include the evolving property insurance landscape, employee mental well-being, economic trends and a real estate outlook

The event series, hosted by Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers, features thought leaders from both the public and private sectors discussing topics at the intersection of insurance, business and public policy.

  • Nov. 12: “The Evolving Property Insurance Landscape: Strategic Response and Agent Participation” – Angi Orbann, National Property Lead and Vice President of Personal Insurance at Travelers, and Dan DiMugno, Assistant Vice President, Risk Management, Personal Insurance at Travelers, will examine how Travelers is using innovative solutions and analytics to better assess customer needs and help them protect their homes. They will also discuss the critical role that agents play in helping consumers understand risks and make informed decisions.
  • Nov. 19: “Beyond Benefits: Building Personalized Mental Health Support at Work” April Koh, co-founder and CEO of Spring Health, and Greg Landmark, Senior Vice President of Total Rewards and People Analytics at Travelers, will share how employers can play a proactive role in improving mental well-being in the workplace. They will explore the compelling business case for employer mental health support, examine real-world success stories and provide actionable strategies that organizations can implement to move beyond generic wellness programs to truly personalized care that meets employees’ needs.
  • Dec. 10: “Live from Travelers’ Risk Control Lab: Bringing Science to Insurance Risk” – Tim Corrigan, Vice President, Risk Control Lab at Travelers; Reese Cann, Assistant Vice President, Risk Control at Travelers; Jennifer Fries, Director, Risk Control Analytical Lab at Travelers; and Andy Cox, Forensic Specialist, Risk Control Lab, at Travelers, will provide viewers with a live tour of the company’s state-of-the-art Risk Control Lab, including its digital forensics lab and industrial hygiene lab.
  • Jan. 7: “Economic Outlook with U.S. Chamber of Commerce Chief Economist” – Curtis Dubay, Chief Economist for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, will provide an assessment of 2026 economic trends, including inflation, interest rates and the labor market. He will also discuss the impact of the new tax law on businesses, and report on the current legislative outlook.
  • Jan. 21: “Real Estate Market Outlook with National Association of Realtors® Chief Economist Lawrence Yun” – Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist of the National Association of Realtors, will provide a real estate outlook for 2026 and the state of residential and commercial real estate markets, as well as what it all means for buyers, sellers, renters, investors and the insurance industry.
