Carnegie Learning Wins CODiE Awards for MATHia® and Patterns

The company’s AI math software and virtual professional development program recognized among the best in ed tech

PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Carnegie Learning, a global leader in AI-driven technology, curriculum, and professional learning solutions for K-12 education, announced today that MATHia and Patterns were named 2025 CODiE Award Winners in the Best Personalized Learning Solution category and the Best Professional Learning Community PLC Tool category, respectively.

The CODiE Awards are the only peer-recognized program honoring excellence and innovation across the technology landscape. Each product undergoes a rigorous evaluation by expert judges and industry peers based on innovation, impact, and overall value. MATHia and Patterns were selected as winners among hundreds of ed tech nominations.

MATHia is a smarter math learning software that uses artificial intelligence and cognitive science to mirror a human tutor. Its impact has been validated by a gold-standard RAND study on Carnegie Learning’s blended math solution, while a separate Emerald study confirms MATHia’s effectiveness on its own. With a simple-to-use, 1:1 personalized learning experience, MATHia supports every student with just-in-time feedback and contextual hints while offering teachers powerful reports highlighting student progress and next steps. Through sophisticated AI technology that adapts skill-by-skill, MATHia meets learners exactly where they are.

Patterns is Carnegie Learning’s newest and most flexible virtual math professional development program for K–12 educators. Inspired by the power of mathematical patterns to connect and communicate ideas, this evidence-based program helps teachers build a deep conceptual understanding of critical math concepts and shows them how to bring that understanding to life in their own classrooms.

“We’re honored that both MATHia and Patterns have been recognized by the CODiE Awards,” said Barry Malkin, CEO of Carnegie Learning. “These wins not only underscore our leadership in bringing cutting-edge AI and professional learning together to transform math education, but also the thousands of educators who bring our solutions to life every day. Together, we’re reimagining what’s possible in math teaching and learning.”

“The CODiE Awards celebrate the visionaries shaping the future of technology,” said Jennifer Baranowski, President of the CODiE Awards. “This year’s winners exemplify how innovation, leadership, and purpose can come together to create solutions that move industries forward and make a lasting impact.”
